Award winning artist Linda Wacaster, born and raised in Dallas, studied with the greats of wildlife art including Carl Brenders, Terry Isaac, Nancy Glazier and others. She loves wildlife and the outdoors and has travelled the world to gather subject matter. She feels that the sounds, smells and energy surrounding her is almost as important to the creative process as the visual subject. Linda’s attention to detail and her unique qualities of color, light and form are of the utmost importance to her, but of most importance to her is feeling that the viewer can experience what she was feeling on that day and in that place. Her subjects include wildlife to western and each subject has a story to tell. She is published in “The International Artists Book “100 Artists Tell How to Paint the Portrait”, as well as Gango Editions. (images: paintings by Linda Wacaster: Cattle Drive and Tatonka)
